The choreography by Artistic Director Hilary Thomas combines the power of athleticism with the softness of lyricism. This lively and engaging dance concert is suitable for all ages. The lyrics are performed in English. Proceeds from the performance will benefit The Foundation for Living Beauty: a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of women living with cancer and cancer survivors.The dance performance will showcase a number of noted live musicians on stage. Musicians scheduled to appear include: Chris Pierce, Michelle Bloom, Billy Mitchell, Wil Seabrook. Styles range from pop to classical to jazz music. Dancers include Hilary Thomas, Peggy Burt, Caterina Mercante, Meghann Fowler, Rebecca Levy, Tar Mosier, Michelle Kolb and Katherine Halpin.Lineage Dance Company is a professional company based in Pasadena that tours nationally to raise funds for charitable organizations. The Pasadena Star News states, ’The women of Lineage Dance are powerful athletes who lift and support each other with grace and ease. They dance with heart-breaking sensitivity and infuse their performance with abounding joy....’You are invited to come and ’see the music dance’ and raise funds for the courageous women supported by The Foundation for Living Beauty.General Admission seating.Running time is approximately 2 hours including one intermission, and the performance is suitable for all ages.
